Medication Management

At Resilient Roots Behavioral Health it is our goal to provide improved mental and emotional health needs. As a Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner, I have been trained to help improve an individual's functioning through psychotropic medications.

Upon a clinical evaluation and diagnosis, treatment plans are discussed that may involve medications. We will discuss how medications work within the body and how they may improve your symptoms.  Medication may provide the opportunity to alleviate symptoms that are unable to be treated with therapy alone. Goals of medication treatment include improving quality of life, ability to participate in therapy, and an individual's overall well-being.

Various psychiatric illnesses that can be treated with medication include ADHD, depression, anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar disorders. We also provide medication management for those starting at age 6 if it is determined to be needed.
